Thanksgiving is upon us and Black Friday is on many Lasell students’ minds. Black Friday is one of the largest shopping days of the year. It is usually the day after Thanksgiving, but as the years progressed the stroke of midnight is the kick off to this crazy shopping day.
After the last piece of pie is cut people get in their cars and scurry to beat the lines. Everyone with a similar goal, find the best deals on items to cross of their Christmas list. This is a day many individuals look forward to all year. Items can be marked down so low you would think retailers are paying you to take items off their shelf.
This day can be stressful but beneficial to college students on a tight budget. Black Friday is a great day to get Christmas shopping done for a good price. This year, many stores have started to have their discounts even earlier. The sales are starting Wednesday for many retailers. While discounts are not the same as Black Friday you will still find some great discounts without as many shoppers.
Start making your list and checking it twice. This year enjoy Thanksgiving even more knowing your holiday shopping is complete and you didn’t even break your bank.
